Notes: Very good with original finsih, some scattered pitting. Mechanically fine. Some light pitting or frosted appearance of the bore. These revolvers were manufactured by Henry Deringer's great grandson I. Jones Clark after Henry Deringer's death in 1868. Production ended in the late 1870s after an estimated 6,900 .22 caliber revolvers and 4,000 .32 caliber revolvers were completed. They are clearly based on Smith & Wesson's tip-up revolver patterns. Marked 'DERINGER PHILADA' on the top of the ribs and have German silver blade front sights and integral notch rear sights. The grips have high gloss varnish. Matching serial numbers are located on the butts, back of the barrel lugs, and front of the cylinders.
